Default Carbon Chassis Which buggies have them?

I have seen a few carbon chassis around yet I can't find one now. I have seen them also with alloy inserts for the motor mount etc.

Does anyone know of ANY brand of buggy that has a carbon chassis?

Even an onroad chassis (with the alloy insert) will be helpful to.

Like this one.

Default Which scale?

When you say 'buggy' are you referring to 1/10, 1/8? I haven't seen any 1/8 buggy come from the factory with an OEM graphite chassis. All I have ever seen have steel or some other type of metal chassis.

1/10 scale buggies on the other hand almost all come with a graphite chassis or a variation thereof. The last 1/10th scale buggy I recall having a metal chassis was the old Team Associated RC10 tub chassis buggy...

I wouldn't think a 1/8 graphite chassis would hold up that well.....IMO..

That is a after market chassis. The first 1 Ive seen. If you ar racing an alum. chassis would be way better. All chassis are made to flex, the carbon will not flex like alum. this will make your susp. work alot harder and harder to set up.
It does look great.

Thats the only 1 in existance, and I have heard good things about it. I hear they are making it for the 8T too. I would like to see them make them for all popular buggies, I might buy 1 and the price isnt outrageous prettymuch the same as any quality milled out aluminum chassis. And chassis are not made from steel they would rust.

There were many nay-sayers to the concept of a carbon fiber chassis in a nitro car--up until these guys proved that it could be done. If memory serves me, I think that the Drake tried one out and had very good things to say about it.

For what it's worth, I haven't heard much about the chassis, but I think it's safe to say that if someone (or several people) had plunked down $130 on a chassis that didn't hold up to expectations, we'd hear about it in this forum mighty quick, since bad news travels a lot faster than good news. Also, they're looking to expand their lineup for a few other rides, so that leads me to conclude that business is at least partly good. Just do a search in this forum for Matrix Concepts; there's a whole thread dedicated to it.

Robert At Matrix has over 3 years of R&D into these chassy's...HE ONLY makes them for the losi so far....as for that pic being the ONLY one...thats a Lie...he's got about 2 Dozen out there so far and they are ALL serial #'d....so if some one claims they seen one snap...they have to prove it with a chassy # and a confirmation from Robert....some of his driver's are still using the pre-production chassy that was THE FIRST on the planet...so strength isnt an issue...Nor is wear...as he includes Replaceable skids AND replaceable Droop screw tabs....IMO this is one of the Trickest chassy's on the market and to mention is Makes the truck/buggy lighter...handle better...Jump better...go through the rough better....ALL in all its a better chassy....and Carbon does flex...Significantly more then Alum will and WILL Not bend or break...that is one of the major benefits to a carbon chassy is the flex that can be designed into it....different weave to the carbon...different flex effect....ive been dying to try one for ages now...but never got around to it....soon tho.

Like I said I would try 1. I bet they are pissed Losi came out with the 2.0. I didnt mean there is only 1 chassis I meant that they only make it for the 1 car.

the Matrix chassy is already extended for the buggy.....i believe the same amount as the 2.0 chassy.....and for the truggy....well im sure Robert could make up a new mold and go from there to match the 2.0T
