Default How long does your 1600mAh hump pack last

I am looking at getting rid of my LiPo receiver packs and getting some 160mAh hump packs
I have fried a few lipe regulators in the heat wave were in the middle of, and i have a big meeting coming up which i really dont want to have any problems in.

my question is how much racing run time do you get out of your 1600mAh hump pack before you notice the reaction time slowing?

I run a Airtronics 94359Z servo on the throttle and an ace 1015 on the steering.
Im just wondering how may of these packs i need to get to last out the day without having to recharge any of them

Hi there,
I had my 1600mah tested for at least 2 hours of non-stop racing. It still has power without any signs of power loss. The servos used are analog 13kg each.

I use this one:

http://www.carolinasrc.com/Webstore/...idproduct=4715

I know it will go 45 minutes, and feel sure it would go 1 hour. I have been using the futaba 94351's. If you run a analog servo/s it would be even better on battery life...

If you wanna go all day without recharging I recommend getting 2. I think your still in the safe zone after an hour but after that your kinda pushing your luck.

yeah, I've gone 1 hour before on mine without any power fade. That's why I haven't bought a lipo set up yet. plus I'm too cheap to buy a lipo charger and lipo pack. hmmm spend $30 bucks on a good reciever pack, which I already have a charger for, or spend $200 bucks for a lipo setup?

I might have to do it anyway because I fried my charger at the rc pro series race in texas!

Get an Elite 1500 mah pack, they actually hold 1800 mah. I swear by them. I run practice 3 quals and a 30 min main without charging. I do sometimes top it off before the main but didnt quite a few times and got over an hour on it. And I run Hitec 5955 and 5625 in truggy. Just when you get the pack charge it then discharge it like 2 times at least to get the most out of it. Integy has Intellect 1600mah packs cheap too and they aint bad also. I want to go to lipo but dont want to run a regulator

My nearly 3 year old Venom 1200 packs that only take 800mah on a charge will power my buggy for at least 1hour 45minutes. KO digital on steering and Airtronics digital on throttle. Ni-mh have more than enough run time for any kind of main (besides an enduro I guess).

I agree with everyone else..They are fine, and will last as long as any main you ever enter..Dont push past an hour though, no reason to chance it.
