Check the BCE site, Or go to the X-2 Conversion, It took me a bit to get used to the new X-2 buggy, But it is the ultimate upgrade!

Here are some pictures. The HB conversion is to lower the CG of the truck, uses a smaller spur gear and the HB LST ring and pinion to compensate for the smaller spur.

i did some research, and hopefully i got it right...

you use the following parts:

HBSC9009 (10T Pinion) QTY2
HBSC9010 (43T Ring) QTY2
OFN40518 (48T Spur) QTY1

then what do you remove to lower the center diff on the X1-CRT?

you need 4 jammin x1cr center diff posts part#ofn40512 are you doing the small gear conversion in a truggy if so you will want a 50 tooth spur gear the gearing is closer that way when using the hot bodies gears you can get a hot bodies one part#HBSC8182 or you can get a Kyosho one that is lightened part# KYOIFW167. I did the hot bodies conversion with a bce pjx chassis and it is awsome
Go to http://www.truggyracers.com/forum/index.php? you will find everything you need to know it is under the BCE RC RACING thread enjoy

You'll need the buggy center diff posts, smaller spur, and the HB LST 43t Ring and 10t pinion in the front and rear gearbox.

Part #'s:
Diff posts: ofn40512
50T Spur HB: HBSC8182 or Kyosho: KYOIFW167
2x43T Ring gear HB: HBC9010
2x10T Pinion HB: HBC9009

The buggy diff mount posts are what actually lower the center diff assembly. If you look at the picture below you'll see what the stock and lowered look like, I've put arrows on the 4 spacers that need to be removed when used with the new diff mount posts.

This mod also lessens the angle that the center drives shafts sit at. They'll be almost level with this mod done. So make sure to check where it connects to the ft/rr gearbox to make sure there's clearence for any chassis flex. I'd imagine if it took a real hard jolt and flexed the chassis enough it's drive the center shafts into the gearbox inputs.

I have another question. Can you use the stock chassis?? I mean, is there enough room to move the motor over far enough with the now smaller spur gear?? Also, do you have to change the clutch bell since you go down in spur gear size??

no other real benefit other than the CG, but that alone should make a big difference in how the truck handles and turns. This will work with the stock chassis beacuse of the use of a bigger clutch bell. I pretty sure you can use 14-17T with this mod, I'll find out for sure from the previous owner and get back to you.
