I use Belray grease, its made for metal on metal contact, it is also used for motor cycle bearings, so the grease wont make your O-rings swell if you want to use it for building your diffs as well. i paid about 4.99 and i probably couldnt kill all of it even if i tried within the next 3 years.

I just noticed something important. Is this guy talking about the ring and pinion gears or the BEVEL gears INSIDE the differentials? I hope its the ring and pinion. Otherwise we all gave him incorrect answers and he is gonna need a can of brake cleaner if he took our advice
Last: Only silicone diff fluid goes inside the diff. And for the ring and pinion gears, lightly coat them with an automotive axle grease of your choice after every diff rebuild.

haha, thats why i retracted my previous post, i was kinda being a smart ass about everyone putting grease in the diff. That makes absolutely no sense hahaha. Those spider gears run in thick oil all the time. Putting grease in there would just make a mess. And on the ring and pinion you can only use so much, most of it is squished out almost immediately anyway.
