Default Correct way to Dispose of Nitro Fuel

I have been trying to look for an answer to this question in the net and nothing.

Guys whats the best way to dispose of the old Nitro Fuel in a safe way??

Well if you use a wood stove for heat in the winter use it to start your fires....

I would think burning it would be a safe way of disposing of it..

Can leave it out in the sun for the nitromethane and methanol to evaporate and take the oil left over and put it in waste oil disposal at the local tip/garbage dump.

i put my old fuel in the waste oil at my shop which feeds 2 big oil furnaces, or you could do like some people i know and dump it down the sink

I pour it on garden weeds, what ever's closest. That's usually only a little bit left at the bottom of the fuel bottle though.

i would think the oil dump would be the greenest way to do it...

i use it to kill the weeds in the cracks of the pavement

I think if your trying to be green, you probably wouldn't be using nitro to start with

i wouldnt, not cause im a tree hugger but more so if you have pvc drain pipes it may attack the glue in the joints

I should restate that - mixing it in with your lawnmower gas works. Dunno if it would run on just nitro or not? hmmm
