If the one your refering to is narrow more like 10th scale then yeah, my boy has used that for 2 plus years and broken in about 25 motors with no problems.

The Ofna all blue box is great, not the chrome top

That is the top plate your are talking about I have been looking for them but it seems that either they are not making them anymore or on a big time back order.

Most people don't use/need the TKO top plate pad, so nobody stocks them.

You're not the only one here buddy. Mugen B2 starter box all the way. I have mine for two seasons now. I'm just going to change the wheel and slap on upgrade r/c skinz and I'm ready for next season.

Default 12V Battery

Could someone point me in the right direction? I have the OFNA Truggy starter box, now I'm trying to locate a 12V battery to use in it. If you're using one, where did you get it? I was thinking of trying Interstate Batteries or Batteries Plus etc. Your insight appreciated!

12v/7Ah gel cells can be found at the LHS, usually in the airplane section. Other than that, local battery stores (batteries +) also have them also. A lot ot house alarms use the same battery for power back-up, so they are not that uncommon to find.

I just use two 1500 7.2 stick packs though. Lighter than the gel cell.
