Sure! Do you want the RTR or racer roller? if you get the RTR, get it off ebay is it is under $500 shipped.

The race roller version. Better, but more expensive.

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/9725-truck

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/31073-I havent ran that engine, but I heard it is pretty good. if price allows get the RB S3 or S5 though. Easier to tune and last longer.

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/9007-pipe

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/16275-radio

And get servos of your choice depending on price. That will coem up to alot if you dont know about racing. This doesnt include the starter box either! I would just get the RTR to get your feet wet, see if you like it.

Bascially any 1/8 offroad box. All you have to do is line them up.

Actually that engine is almost exactly the same as the S3. And all RB's are made by novarossi so longevity will be the same. And the carbs are the same so they will tune the same.

Yes if you want them to last. You really need some torque in a truggy for steering. for throttle the 650 is probebly the cheapest that will last. I will look int the throttle servo for you.

I have heard the ace servos are good but have no experience so I can't be sure.

this would be decent for steering
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/5733

You might be able to get away with this for throttle
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/4780

This has the torque but is very slow
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/4781

this would also be a good alternative for throttle but it is still $55

Most engines go around 40-45mph.

C'mon guys, he doesnt need the latest and greatest!! I mean can a beginner really feel the difference between a .20 and .13 torque servo?

Get the 8ight RTR, replace with race roller equivalent when something breaks, when you get more money get a starter box, then better engine and servos.

I would like to build the kit so I'm going to stick with the roller. Now I can get a dx2 for 100$, an associated starter box for 50, and im looking at used servos for 50 apiece.
