I had a fioroni center in my old mp777 and loved the difference it made.I will buy the center for shore and the front to play.These actually excite me LOL

actually even though the principal is the same from what I was told by the designer the smart diff is different in that it uses the smaller "bevels" instead of the large ones to engage. Adding the other things in and this makes for a much smoother engagement. It was explained to me how it was different than say a BBF, XRAY, or Fioroni and that's how it was told to me.

Compared to an ordinary diff, do they need more maintenance?

I ran the fioroni center an entire season and never even thought of it.Just had to make shore there was enough special grease in it (copper colored).But never Had to add any other then when first installed so very little.And it looks like the losi smart/active diff is similar in concept so but i guess we will see
