hey guys

i was just wondering if you could make nitro fuel
if you can can you post a step by step guide to making it??

You can make it your self. A older guy showed and told me the steps years ago but did not really pay attention to how he did it. I see what I can find out.

Yes you can make fuel. Is it a safe and good idea NO.

If you don't know what your doing it is not a good idea to do it this guy had done it for a LHS for a while. He had the stuff to make fuel in 55 gallon drums and I don't think its safe to have in a garge for too long.

no offense if there listening but at the track a track i used to go to a fella brewed fuel and sold it and seemed like all the guys using this home brew were always having issues with there engines...looking to save $ id just go w/20%

Not a good idea, but I have seen people adding nitro as many manufacturers cheat with the nitro content.

i would leave it to the guys that know whats acceptable to do and whats not.. nitro can be very unstable if not cared for correctly

Maybe the O.P is very sensible, will follow the MSDS's and storage requirements exactly and has handled chemicals before.

I would also be interested to know how to do it.... not because I want to make fuel, but rather because I think it would be easy!! I wanna know what the fuss is about... if you measure your 4 ingredients properly and add the smaller ingredients to the methanol and then shake it then it will be perfect right? (ie; they are all easily soluble)
