Well i went ahead and bought this one

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/25354

for about 230 i thought it was worth a shot. This is the motor that Kortz runs right out of the box..

I get it tommorow and will be using it at the Winter nationals at Rev Raceway. I will give an honest review after the race..

+1 on the OPS I feel like I have the best motor no one has ever heard of and trust me I have had most of them. OPS never lacking for power 10 min+ on a tank and it runs at about 200 degrees. My first one lasted 8 gallons and was still in great shape but a blown servo and a scared turn marshal ended that

Trust me get the 2013 pipe before you even race that motor.

Thats what I had heard thats why I asked. have a race in two weeks and trying to get the most out of this motor. A friend will let me barrow the 2013. Is the 2013 the bottom to mid? Also found found I couldn't get it to idle smooth and switch from a os p3 plug to an odonell plug and the motor idled smooth and was easy to tune. just would like to get a bit more punch out of corners. thank you for the advice

Put a gallon in it.The pinch in the werks are very tight.Once it started to loosen up it made much more power and tuning became very simple.btw I allways preheat my engine so it wouldnt get stuck on my starter box

i've seen a few werks motors that were quick jeremy kortz being one of em..but I've owned the .28 and TLB7 and i wasn't all that impressed..I don't think they're bad motors but I will not run them as for the price I feel I could do better. I never really got mine to tune how I wanted so I gave up on em..

Looks likes werks motors are like the V spec.
Some people like them other hate them.
Glad to hear you like yours and having good results with it.

Just got a 2013 for my B7 and now the motor is stupid fast. Plenty of bottom imho and an endless top end. I was running a JP-1 and the difference is just amazing. Sorry I waited so long to get the 2013.
