funny seriously though its a really solid engine with a smooth power and very strong , personally i like 86 pipe with medium round header on most all novarossi engines and this one is no exceptions .

I run a Novarossi 9853 pipe with the short round header.

The Plus 4 has a very smooooooth powerband compared to the 21-5k. The 21-5k has some more bottom punch.

53 w/ short header is another great combo , a touch better in the truggy make sure you use short header with 53 pipe .

well from what I have seen out of my stock 21-5k You WON'T be dissappointed. I have run mine with the three lower JP pipes(1, 2, 3) and out of them I like the 3 the best. I have been meaning to pick up a dynamite 053 to try on it. You can't beat those pipes for the price.

Novarossi Factory Tuned engines are the same with more rotor timing. Wont be as good all around as a JX21. It wont be junk though either. Only bad thing about novarossi is the 1 gallon before its broken in.

Yes they take a long time to break-in but because of that they last forever. The pinch in an os engine would be gone two times over before the pinch of a nova is gone. Meaning the good pinch. But from what I have seen os engines runb remarkably well for not having any pinch. Nova's are strong too. I love both brands.
