You mean the DS1313, there's no DS1013. I love the DS1313 on my throttle/brake, but are also great for steering with the amount of torque and speed it has. And on top of that it's only $73 at Amainhobbies. Ace are the best servos out there IMO for the price.

I am a very twitchy driver and like fast servos so I run JR 9100s servos.
180oz/.07sec. Great servos and you can get them for $90 from tiltedrc.com when they run specials. Well worth the coin along with a 3year warranty and awesome customer service!

Thanks for the replies.... based on the specs I've been looking at I'll probably try the Ace/Associated 1313's. They seem to have the best blend of speed/torque at a reasonable price.

Interestingly, nobody took a stab at my original question. Which is more important, speed or torque? I'd still like to hear some opinions.

Torque is more important because without the power you wont get the speed.

what is the max volt that you can run thru a servo i have ace 1015 x 2 as i just got a dx3r controller and they will run upto 9.6v so i was thinking can i run my servoes at lipo 7.4 voltage or do i still require a regulator just for the servoes??

Here is a tip for newer drivers DO NOT GET THE FASTEST SERVO YOU CAN.......
its a waste and 9 times out of 10 it will be to fast for you and make your driving inconsistent and twitchy get something in the .13 to .15 range and you will be good you dont need a .06 servo because its to fast for you in a race situation
