Happened to stop by the LHS, they still had a set of Kyosho wheels, I compared them to losi and J Concepts (only examples i had to compare). They are slightly smaller than the losi wheel but considerably larger diameter than the rulux's

I just ordered these Kyosho's for my Losi 8 rtr. I called Amain hobbies and they said they would fit. Putting some Proline Moab tires on them.

I'd say the Odonnel wheels are probably your best bet right now for spoked wheels.

MP9's do come with AKA tires; so I don't know whey you wouldn't be able to use them as well.
