Default JP-1 vs JP-3

Whats up guys i have a basic question and i am hoping some of the veterans around here can give this rookie some good advice. First let me say that all info will be apreciated.
This is my first season to race rc cars currently i am running a mayhem that i converted to a turmoil pro and have gotten it to handle rather well actually finishing ahead of some of the mugen and kyoshos at our local tracks. But my problem is that i need some more bottom end grunt out of my os 21 vg that only has about 1.5 gallons on it. I am having a problem clearing one jump, but that jump is at the begining of a rythym section, so timinhg is really imprtant. Currently i am running a jp-2 that came with the buggy, last weekend i borrowed a jp-1 for some practice and noticed a difference. My question is will i lose the bottom end that the 1 has if i by a JP-3.
Also if anyone has any other ideas they would also be appreciated.
Oh yeah the clutch setup is a fioroni with hard springs with only 1 hr runtime.

Again thank you for any info

Ive heard the same thing JP3 has the bottom of the JP1 with the top of the JP2. Its the best of both worlds. Ive never tested them back to back but last time I used a JP3 on an engine it really ran incredible.

Hello guys. Dont mean to impose on your thread. Would the jp3 pipe fit my losi 8 buggy. If it does what would I gain by installing this one over the stock pipe that came with RTR? Thanks for your help!!!!!

The JP series fits the LOSI with ease and the JP3 makes the 427 scream! Been there done that....give it a go and you will not be disappointed!

If you haven't ordered your JP3 yet I would suggest you get the JP4 instead, both I think are about same price. The JP4 will give you more runtime and better top end with the same bottom end as the JP3.

People said the JP-3 has much more grunt compared to the JP-4. I have a JP-4 (love it!!!), and was thinking about getting a JP-3 (I need low end grunt). After reading your comments I think I'd better watch this thread first...

I have the hard ano version of the JP1, JP2, two JP3 and two JP4 and the JP4 is the best one out the the bunch. Just as much bottom as the JP3 but better runtime and more top end.

I have a friend who is a sponsor driver and he tried the JP6 and didn't like it. He offer to sell it to me for $30, lol. I would stick with your JP3 or better yet get a JP4 in the future.
