Default Need help gas tank issue

hello guys,

Im having problem with my st-r fuel tank always breask. Any suggestion/fix.

I know i broke a few gas tanks on my STR-R, what helped is that i made sure i didnt over tighten the mounting screws and installed some soft foam underneath the tank and it helped. A friend of mine has ran a whole season with the original tank who passed on such info...hope this helps.

I did put soft foam and not tighten screws but no luck. I killed to tanks today.

everytime my friend nose dives his truck the tank breaks.

I run my ST-RR tank loose. I don't use the front mounting post. I zing-tie the front to the bulkhead.

I went through about 4 tanks on my buggy until i was told to leave it loose, i hardly tighen at all.
