Default All good

The P-3 is a good motor to start out with. It's got plenty of power, holds a tune well. Any one thats been running RC for awhile can help you get it running sweet. Don't over heat it, make sure the smoke trail is all was there.

I guess this engine is not bad overall, good enough for me as a beginner. I think I shall consider it for this engine. Thanks alot guys...

Just curious to ask, compare for brands, quality, price & power. SH engines, Picco engines & Ofna/Hobao engines which is the best to go for it? Thanks

In the past, anything European made was better (Nova, Picco, etc.) but the Asian makes have been getting better, SH in particular. Sadly, the OS VG.21 which replaced the venerable RG.21 has been a disappointment. I believe the SH built engines are better than the Toki made engines (makers of the Hyper/Ofna/Hobao engines) and parts for SH engines are plentiful and cheap.

The Picco BAS engine is good choice on an engine when you don't want to spend alot of dollars, the bottom end power gets your buggy up to speed and top speed is decent that's where P7R series engines shines, but overall is still a great engine, I have one I take to the track and have let other people use it when they loose out on their engine and they get suprized on how much power is in the engine that's under the $200.00 range.

Guys, Thanks for all the reply & opinion. Two choices engine to choose Picco P3 & Hobao Mac 28. Which engine you guys suggest me to buy? Mac28 is a Super Torque engine, Im not sure does it fit well on 1/8 buggy but the price is pretty cheap . Any one use Mac28 engine before? Good? Quality? So hard to make decision Thx Thx

I just got my first Picco based engine a Trinity platinum A. Drake. Extremely surprised by the engine. Whats Picco's top of the line engine? So impressed definitely considering another Picco for my Buggy.
