I run a v-spec. its great in the truggy. another good one is the novarossi plus 21-5k which can be had for $270 now. Or the mugen jx ninja. I would get the ninja before the v-spec because of the coated crank, stronger crankcase, and better con rod. the ninja is 300 most places.

I run a jp-3 its awesome. making awesome power and getting 10-11 min of runtime. I have a brand new eb mods 2041 to try. I have heard it is one of the best for it. you can get them for $50 on ebay.

I bought a Go 3-port for mine. Anything else would be overkill for me. Plus broken in right this engine should last quite a while.

these are the 3 engines i run in truggy, RC8T

JX.21
Plus 4
P5XST

all are $300 or less, the JX is my top choice, with a 2050 or JP3, 2060. The JX rocks.
