Default New to this site.. need a little advice

Hi all.. and Thx for entering here 4 a little help.

Well... I am new to the site and new to the Hobby....

I would really like to buy a car.. that would give me pleasure and fun...

So i decided to invest around 300$ to 400$ (flex)

and My eyes went down to this 2 cars:

1) KYO31277SG-B - Kyosho Inferno US Sport 2 Ready Set Buggy

2) GSC3002APF - GS Racing Storm CL-1 Pro RTR w/B03 Pull Start .21 Engine

Would Really like to hear what u guys have to say about those cars...

or maybe I should look on something else...

Btw... i know in the end of the day each one of us likes his car and tell

all his friends to buy exactly the same but here i ask u to be as honest as u

can plzzz

Best Regards
and THXXX all !!

You asked for Honesty, so here goes. Both your choices are not good rides, and stay away from Traxxas also. For a 1st time buyer you need something that is durable and easy to get parts for.

I would advise: Losi eight buggy ready to run: Ofna Hyper 7 TQ Black, Losi 8T truggy, and I'm sure you will get many other much better choices for your money. I would also suggest you start saving for better servos, as all RTR come with poopoo servos

If your a first time buyer, I'd suggest Traxxas. They have a great service department and they will give you more fun and pleasure then either buggy you posted about. Those 2 buggies will give you more trouble and will make you want to find something else to do.

I would go with the 8ight RTR, but buy a kit chassis. It's stronger and i know people with less problems with the 8ight kit chassis compared to the RTR chassis. imo the 8ight is a very durable car and is a great racers also.

Amain has the Losi RTRs for 500 right now. But it might be worth your while to build something yourself. It'll cost more but you'll be happier in the long run.

The Losi 8 is only 300 on Amainhobbies.com Can't get a better start for the price than that. The D8 is only 330.

I bought a RTR and replaced nearly everything. Would have been way better off if these 2 kits were priced like this when I jumped to 1/8th scale.

if u plan on racing and of cos if it's ok with your wallet, go for the pro kit, u'll get to choose the engine and servos, like wat Jaz240 mentioned, most of the stock's servo sucks anyway... and choose a reliable brand with good LHS's support that is near u... u'll need the spares, eventually...

The Losi RTR is a Great RTR, but you can buy some kits for cheaper on sale at this time and make them better than the RTR price and get better performance for you buck!

Look into the On sale 8ights on AMain. Then some of there other products and you can come up with a killer race car for very cheap.
