engine bearings ,seal change ???
just pulled my engine out of truggy its relativly new and i noticed rubber seal on front bearing a bit broken (think it broke from large washer being behind tapered cone and rubbing against ) ,i have bearings i can get seal off and i played with a wheel bearing to practice removing and installing ,and there easy off but not that easy to put on ,am using small knife and small screwdriver ,,ANY TIPS ??

Because of the relitively low cost, if it were me i'd just replace the whole front bearing.... Otherwise, if you have a replacement seal just pick the old one out with a razor blade and push the new one in...

i would go with a whole new front bearing

ditto what those guys up there said...replace the bearing all together...
and use a washer behind the collet that is not any larger in diameter than the metal race of the bearing next time...basically the washer is the same diameter as the collet
I only use a collet washer if the flywheel gets too close to the front of the motor
