Default Hot Bodies D8 Truggy

Hello all,
Not trying to get anything started here but are we getting any closer
to seeing a D8 truggy. I had heard something about Ty Tessman doing
some testing a good while back but I haven't heard anything since.

I doubt it will be right away. They are forever behind on bringing out the D2, the 2wd electric. I think that is at least 6months late.

I did speak to Hotbodies about a month ago about the truggy. They said that they are in the R&D phase and that it should be out before july

I think HB is capable of handling more designs than just one car at a time.
I guess the question is, are they.
It would seem that the truggy base is pretty much built since it will copy
the D8 unless they are putting in more changes to the D8 design.
I guess time will tell.

Yeah I had been wondering the same thing. I was hoping it would come out before the Nitro Challenge 09 in Feb. I wanted to check it out, and possibly race both classes. Hopefully it will come out soon though.

Could be the most competitive truggy for the money. Look foward to hearing or seeing something. Just hope it happens before July.

if it is anything like the buggy then i think it will perform realy well.

I too am hoping it will be released sooner rather that later so that i can get my entry in for the RC Pro here in Australia

Never understood why it seems every manufacture release new kits in later 1/2 of the year. Most of the race season is over and winter is beginning set in.

saw it today at rev raceway....looked excellent...travis amezcua behind the wheel no release date announced but fast...finished I believe 3rd in truggy expert behind 2 new losi 2.0t's (drake and truhe of course) truhe killing it and and drake getting screwed. but the D8t has the most center engine i've ever seen the motor is literally smack dead center just about..and has an ultra narrow chassis. most of all it's pretty darn light...
