The Hobbico CS-170 is the same as the Hitec 5955. This is the Titanium gear servo. The Hobbico is ~$30 less.

those tower pro servo's are JUNK imo they dont center worth a bean and wobble like crazy....even for 10$ a peice...i could Care LESS to be swapping out a servo every other week due to it being a POS....i would rather spend 100$ and be done with it.

ok so the Tower pro servos are junk but are there any decent MG servos for less than 50 bucks? because 100 dollars for a servo is 1/3 of what i paid for the car.

I never even ran my Hyper with the stock steering servo. It looked weak and fragile right out of the box. I'm runing a Hitec 645 MG now off a 6v pack and it works like a charm. You *need* 6v for the steering to be responsive at all. The servo is $35. $50 if you want the digital version 5645.
