Default Hudy set up board, made my own!

I didnt want to pay 44 plus shipping for a straight board. LOL

tell me what i think I do not need the decal i am not worried about car width on a rc8 offroad buggy or rc8t.

the set up system is awesome!! I was surprised of the quality of the parts and acurracy.

5/4 azak a vinyl product used to replace wood. I am going to atach a 2 way small level and I am going to put metal threaded inserts in the corners and install threaded feet so I can level the board by screwing in and out the feet on the corners when I need to use it at the track.

yes and no, i painted everthing i wanted to paint applied the stickers and then sprayed like 10 coats of automotive clear coat to protect them and the paint from fuel spillage. I figured automotive clear coat would be pretty tough.

one of its name is Azek and comes in a 4x8 sheet either 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 5/4. You may be able to find it at home depot, lowes, or a fairly large lumber local dealer. I haven't bought it in years but when i did it was $400 for a 5/4 x 10 sheet. It was really new back then and really expensive i am sure it has come down in price by now but its still not cheap. I am a interior custom trim carpenter and I always find scraps around the homes in all of our developements. the siding guys use it to wrap the bottom of columns. it would not be worht buying it i dont think. i am sure you could use some oak or birch 3/4 plywood and if painted and sealed properly it would last a very long time. you can get a 2x2 3/4 sheet for 12 at lowes. just make sure to paint it well and seal the edges well. and store it flat and dont stack a buch of heavy stuff on top of it.

thats because i run AKA tires now LOL! I did the stickers at like 2 am last night. I am going to trace my hudy set up pieces and my truggy toe guage into the backside of the board and then router them into it. Use a piece of 1/4 plexi and my four furniture feet on the board to hold them in. All in one.
