Have they solved the issue with the exhaust header?

In the past, their chassis would not accept a long header (such as what comes with the Jammin' JP series of pipes). The longer header would rub on the body and also the anti-roll bar attachments.

Not yet. Need to get to an accurate scale.

The xray 808 is the lightest car out at 3250g out the box and the B8rs is 3290
so after that it all depends on your equipment. I don't run lipo or titanium screws so mine will probably be the max weight but with some work you can probably get it as light as the 808 if not lighter.

Drew, the car is so narrow that the larger headers are having a tough time fitting. Similar to the Mugen MBX6. I bent one in a little and it was workable but i went ahead and switched to an OS header but i think the best header for the car is the Werks header as its the most narrow.

See the pics below:

Don't want to start a fight or any mud slinging, BUT I think we should compare buggy weights WITHOUT radio gear, motors, pipes and wheels fitted.

It 's the only completely fair way to the buggy manufactures. MY 808 weighs 3160 dead ready to race without fuel . Thats a heck of alot lighter than your suggesting TMizzle, another chap I race with also has one weighing in almost exactly the same so I don't think it's unusually light either. ALL the other gear that goes into a "ready to race" weight introduces ALOT of variables

This latest TM offering does look real racey though don't it !!

I got that weight for both cars from their websites.
Go to teamxray.com and go to 808 specs.

Can't knock the research then TMizzle, I guess Xray were pretty conservative, TM might be further adrift than Xray were I guess......

I promise you won't regret it! It is an awesome car!!
They are giving it away with all the "hop ups" that come with the car and not to mention the innovation.

$400 you can't beat it. I can see it easily selling for $600+
If you get one, make sure you locktite everything as the only thing that seemed to be locktited were the CVDs.
