I think its worth it. I wrote a more in depth review of the b8rs on rc universe so if your interested you might want to give that a read.
as far as how it compares to the hyper 9, well as always thats going to be opinion.
the hyper 9 has more breakage issues. they have fixed some of the problems with the hyper 9 though. my brothers hyper 9 bends drive shafts all the time, motor mount issues , arms breaking also.
the two cars do not handle alike. the hyper 9 is probably more smooth and percise, were as the b8rs likes to be pushed and isnt upset quite as easy.
they are both fast. the b8rs is easier to set up. many people think the hyper9 pushes in the turns but its just a matter of the poor setup.
they are both about the same weight which is to say 2 of the lightest cars on the market.
they r both under rated if you ask me.

the short answer is that there is a metal piece with 2 set screws in it that sits between the linkage that connects the front and back brakes. tightening this piece closer to the front end of the linkage gives more rear brake and moving to the back gives more front.

I think the number of people driving this buggy are about 6 strong now. its to bad cause this buggy is faster then its given credit for. Its an off the charts under dog. Maybe thats why I like it so much.

Default B8RS Victory

These days the Mexican Off-Road Nats (SNOR), are the serial races with more expansion in Mexico.

From oct 2 to 4, was the 4th of 5 round of the SNOR. Team driver from Team Magic Mexico, Ramón Sigrist, took honors by qualifying at the top, in front of the best drivers around the country.

The fight was hard at the track as Daniel Ornelas and Ramon Sigrist swaps positions in the first laps, but Ramon's skills and the power of his B8RS Buggy, start to put space between them.

By the 3/4 of the race it was clear, Ramon was undefeatable and croos the loop with almost 3 laps gap.

Congratulations to Ramon Sigrist and his first race using the Team Magic B8RS, making clear that this buggy is a competition level chassis with big perfortmance and awsome technology.

More info: www.chihuahuarc.com/tm/

Positions:

1. Ramon Sigrist / Team Magic B8RS
2. Daniel Ornelas / Losi 2.0
3. Alam Martinez / Losi 2.0
4. Marco Allende / Losi 2.0
