Default Finished my kit, engine, and exhaust choices.

Above is the materials I've amassed for my Buggy and Truggy. I have all these parts now so it's time to build. I went with the Go 3-port based on recommendations from knowledgeable people at my local track. Even our XRAY sponsored guy runs them in his 808 for many club events. Engine isn't a limiting factor for me on the track. These Go engines are only $99 right now, hard to argue it's the way to go to get faster. I learned about the value of the TT 2035 exhaust on this forum, after researching it more I found it's a great pipe for the money. It was recommended to me to run the TT 2035 in the Mugen and a Werks pipe in the 8T due to the area in which power is delivered with each pipe. The rest is pretty standard, it took me a while to nail down everything I was going to run. Hopefully both of these cars will be ready for the track next week.

Congrats man! its always a great feeling to get everything all finished up and ready for its first trip to the track.

One big tip on the Go sport engines, I would be sure to pick up turbo burn rooms for them and run them with turbo plugs.

I've not heard this before. What is a turbo burn room?

He is referring to a turbo head button.

Oh.. gotcha.. I will look into that. I wonder if that would work on their 3 port engine as well.

It's more than enough engine for me. These things haul at our local track. I'd be nuts to spend any more on an engine.

I understand. I bought a NOVA 367 as my 2nd engine after the OS VG took a dump. Bad mistake, too much power, couldnt keep it between the pipes. Are these 3 port sport engines having any problems?

I recommend the 3 port race model, I think you can get them for like $170 or so it comes with the turbo plug head bigger rear bearing and a nicer carb I belive.

No.. Our local guys running and racing them are getting quite a few gallons through them without issue. They say their finicky on break in, but once they loosen up you know it.
