A friend of mine runs that motor and it is sick. Hey runs a Losi 8T and just flat out halls butt. He has about 3 gallons on it and its still hard to turn over on the box. For the the price you cant find much more motor, 239$ at amain.

i use a break in that many people dont and do it cause its easy ,i use a run in bench basically an engine mount fuel tank and a areoplane prop ,works a treat start engine then just let it run ,altering tune a bit to alter temps a bit ,do 1.5 ltrs this way then about 5 tanks to finish and fine tune

I used to break mine in like that too. Thinking about going back to this method, at least for the first 3-4 tanks.

The Axe engines take a bit longer than taht to bed in properly but you can run it and it will wake up after anything between 6-10 liters.
Very good reliability and awesoem performance.

i had a mamba, loved it. sold it to race electric. I wish I had kept it. It has incredible pinch when new (heat head when starting and don't start dry). when break in is down look at rod and make sure it is ok (with the tough pinch in can be prematurely worn). After that, haul butt!!
