as far as shocks some like big and others run small to be honest on a buggy I dunno how much of a difference it actually makes.

i got my hyper 9 about a month ago. However, haven't had time to go to the track the past 2.5 weeks. I was there today and got my hyper 9 working really well. It handle's great and man can this buggy fly well. I am very happy in the way it drives. My too cent's is if you must have the newest buggy the hyper 9 is a great car. Good luck with the decision.
