I have heard GRP's are difficult to tune and the track pro's have been telling me to stay away from GRP's. How is a GRP in comparison to a v-spec. I would give you a call, but I live in southern California and that area code would cost a pretty penny lol.

I can vouch for what Bob said. PowerHouse.. (Mark) Does excellent work. In fact I just got my V-Spec Back from him. I'm anxious to go out and run it this weekend.

As for the pricing I think you need to login to your Amain account see the lower price. Shows $284.99 for me.

I know that Mark had the GRPs for sale and they are going to be some nice motors at an excellent price! - You could also ask Mark to break in and tune motor for I think $50 so all you have to do when you get it is drop it in and run it.

But I still say the V-Spec sounds like your engine. I pointed many in that direction and they've never let me down. Even more so now that the V-Spec has the updated carborator!

I just logged in and it is still 299 for the v-spec. Which one has more bottom? Aside from drake running a GRP I have never seen one actually run, my local track is heavily v-spec populated.

Default Motor

Just spend the $300 and get a RB WS7. They are well worth the money. I have one in my pit box with a little over 12 gallons on it and it still runs like a champ. This motor is a little light in the bottom, but it still has more than enough power. It also gets about 9 minutes per tank even with a heavy throttle finger.

Why not consider the JPX.21 or a LRP version if you so please ? cheaper then the V-spec, has more bottom end and Will outlast it.
