Default Starter Box Hop-up ?

I want to beef up my starter box right now I have the Mugen Box with 2 motors and 2 stick packs, stock motors and 3600mha packs. I was curious what people have done or motors they have put in theres to get a little more ass out of it.

What size motors have people replaced the stock ones with?
Would switching to a big lipo help much.

I am running a new GR with a ton of pinch I know that one of the problems too.

the only thing you can really do is put a lipo battery in it. if you want more turn over power, get the OFNA blue truggy box, that thing has bigger motors and will start just about anything...

I rewired my ae box with deans plugs and good wire and wow! Deans are so much better than those tamiya plugs and that is where you lose most of your power

Default Mugen starter box hop ups

I have just installed TRINITY 55 turn crawler motors in mine and i really like the torque they have, plus i already had the 14.8 lipo battery.
The next box that i will do (i have three) i will put the 45 turn TRINITY motors in it. That way they should have a just a bit more RPM.

Default lipo

How much difference does the lipo add? I heard about changing the wires and connectors before. As far as the lipo what is my best bet, that is what Lipo works best?

Default Starter box hop ups

Here is mine :
I use HT batteries starter box batteries and I use there charger also as it balances as it charges.
My wife pits my car and I need the lightest set up I can get, when I had the 12 volt battery she did not like the weight of it.
So to keep her happy I went with lipo, plus it has more power than a 12 volt set up.

COST:
HT Batteries Balance Charger-$65.00
HT Batteries starter box 14.8 lipo-$65.00
Long balance cord (HT Batteries)-$6.00
Total cost= $ 136.00

And if you use there lipos in your Radio and RX pack, The charger will Charge all the Batteries that you own, One charger for everything !

wow guys, those are some bad ass set ups!! I have the Ofna Blue Truggy box with the gel cell. Its damn heavy but it has some serious hit when fully charged. I bet those 14.8 batts would really increase my box umph. But, its hard to justify a 100 dollar battery for the box, the 12 gel cell was like 30 at the LHS, and i later found em at acadamy for like 10 bux. so, ill stick with the heavy, but very functional rig i got, but, you guys have some nice boxes there.

Nice setup, do you have to use a regulator in the bump box?

Plus i cant get lipo (dad doesnt want to me to spend 180 dollars on a nice charger.)
