Default O.S. Vspec carb

Hello, i was wondering about if a sportworks 7mm venturi will work in the O.S. Vspec carb. Thanks

Actually its smaller than the vspec ones. But many i ask why it doesnt fit?

I'm not sure what you are asking. The insert is too small and too short and the bottom will have a gap also when installed. It must fit correct or it may come out and work its way up the air filter boot.

I guess ill have to use my O.S. 8mm, dont want to pay $14 just for one venturi.

No, that will not apply with anything. But i don't think i'll be buying a venturi. I was trying out diffrent venturies to see how much power and fuel milage i could get out of my eb mods vspec. So anyway i installed my O.S. 8. I was orginally looking for a 7. As light as the 2.0 is and the power of the eb, i dont think i need a whole bunch of power. So i thought if i put in a 7, i could limit the power increase fuel milage for longer run times.

In all honesty, spend the 14 bucks and get the insert. Maybe even the 5.5mm. You will be glad you did.

I use a Go Tech 6.5 mm. No Problem. Its just an insert. As long as it doesnt fall off.
