good topic, its a nice change up....i got a few dislikes. plastic is a lil on the brittle side (has good wear qualities though). driveshaft universal pins are not captured in the hub bearings. she is a fatty. i wish the center diff was the easy access type. radio tray wiring can be a pain in the a$$. this is all minor stuff, you can't have it all.

Hotbodies D8
Fitting everything in the Radio Tray and routing the wires is a pain in the A$$.
Shock towers seem to wanna bend(partly due to my driving I think).
No parts at my LHS yet.
Stock airfilter design/fit is crap. Sits on the brake linkages.

Once again, it is all relatively simple stuff that can be resolved with a little perseverance so all in all I am very happy with the car.

I cant get my Mugen to start when its cold as can be outside. Im tempted to get into some electrics to keep me busy in the winter, but then that would mean going to the dark side....and that just doesnt work for me.

3 feet of snow here.

Current buggy: losi 8

dislikes:
1. the original diff cup were weak and had to be replaced with heavy duty ones.
2. The center cvds need cvd condoms to hold them together
3. the center diff insert and rear diff bearing inserts is a retarded idea. They should have been molded into the plastic diff housing like all the other buggies. Alluminum inserts are a must and should have been included in a $500 + kit.

Overall I like my buggy very much, and when it has seen it's last race I will be buying a 2.0

I've broke 4 Radio trays infront of the steering servo on my 8ight, but i just figured out the my Servo Saver was way to tight and my crashes at the track would tweak my tray at the steering servo...

Great replies guys,keep em comming

Oh ya the original radio box for the Hyper 8 also came with a parachute!. You would get in a super hard crash,go tumbling the lid on the box would fly off and the chute would slow you down fast Thank god they updated that box

The Rear end on the X2, I am really having trouble keeping it planted, the rest is the nut behind the wheel...

Default buggy

I have a Hyper 8.5 and the only complaint (after I fixed the wing mount issue) is that it is a tank, way to heavy. Oh well, I will probably get a Hyper 9 for this season and that should take care of the weight issue. The only problem is the car is new enough I don't know what its problems will be.

I don't like that it's sitting in a box waiting to be built!

NO BIG BORE SHOCKS ARRRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!11!!1!1!!!!!!1!!!!!1!!

diff case wear= lots of outdrive play

plastic generally wears too quick

NO BIG BORE SHOCKS ARRRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!11!!1!1!!!!!!1!!!!!1!!

flexy chassis hits clutch and destroys expensive motor block
weak chassis braces

NO BIG BORE SHOCKS ARRRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!11!!1!1!!!!!!1!!!!!1!!

confusing caster adjustments( why is one red the other blu? what do the #'s mean? why deos increasing caster make the car steer faster but the xray setup guide says it'll slow it)

Lame, lame setup guide. Need more specifics, is it really that hard to explain all the stuff that was desighned into the car.

Car comes assembled cause its impossibly tough to build without first seeing one. (stupid caster thingys)

NO BIG BORE SHOCKS ARRRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!11!!1!1!!!!!!1!!!!!1!!

Need a Rc8 b2 very soon as my cars wearing out. I'm not going to mod another stock one. If no b2, I'm jumping to X-ray or Hotbodies.
