I just finished a D8 build. I like the way it went together. Clean and straight forward. Seems very strong. We will see how badly I drive.

I have had an Xray and it was awesome.

All 3 of those buggies are contenders. If it were me I would look at it like this. Parts support, do you have metric or standard tools, does the rc8 or jammin come with big bores? You definitely want the big bores, you will end up buying them later if they are not already there. If you dont have any standard wrenches or nut drivers be prepared to buy tools for the losi. As I said all 3 cars are good but they all have there own issues, I have had all 3. Good luck.

and this means what to me..that your a better driver..
If it was my "dime" Id get the Losi, better price, parts are less and it seems to have good reliability, The biggest knock on the Losi had to do with the throttle servos not lasting. I have seen some issues on the truggy but not with the buggy. Right now you can get the Eight kit for $299 from A main and with the $25 off coupon it's $275..That's a deal, where I race at the 8ight is still in the top group..right with the Xrays, Kyoshos and the Mugen..For me the Losi fits my driving style..and I can convert my 8ight to a 2.0..The Associated still has fuel tank problems (their on the 4th tank now..) the A arm problems were fixed quickly. The only problem that I can see with the HB D8 would be parts availability..I have owned several HB products and I can say that getting parts for them at times have been frustrating..very....

I watched the first 1:40. You crashed 4 times and got passed by 3 or 4 other buggies?

I have a mbx6 now and it is good. but I also had a rc8. I really liked the rc8 as well. i dont know why people think it is fragile. They include the service kit. I never broke mine and I crashed it pretty good. You dont have to have the big bores. They do help, I had the jammin big bores on mine and I didnt notice to much difference to be honest. Honestly if my mbx6 doesnt get much better I will be getting another rc8.
