Default .21 ENGINE PROBLEM?!?!

I seem to have stripped the hole for the bolts that hold down my cooling head.

Is there a fix for this or do I have to buy a new crank case?

Dude that sucks. Not sure if there is a heli coil repair kit the small or not but you may be better off just buying a good, used case. What motor as I have a bunch of parts motors. I may be able to help.

You may be in luck, let me dig through my stuff and I will let you know what I have. You have to be careful on those os based motors. They have very specific screw size of 2.6 mm, a 2.5 mm screw which is readily available will feel as if it fits but when you crank down.... Not saying this is what happened but I have seen it happen a lot here locally.

hmm yeah after I tried the os screw I used a pico screw and I think that was the nail in the coffin for the holes

I actually know ecatlly what did it. I was using an odonnell head which required that I cut the screw short. I think it was either a bad cut on the end of the screw or the fact that I was using a ball tip allen to screw them in (always use a straight tip!). It screwed in at angle and tore it up

Im the kinda guy that has to learn by making the mistake
