Best servo's for NiMH recever packs.
 

I am looking in buying a new set of servo's for my Platinum Revo. Back about 3 years ago I bought a bunch of 359 and 360 Airtronics servos, I sent them all in for service and having glitching problems with them still. I also seen many people lately having a lot of issues with Airtronics servos. Anyway it looks like I am going to get a new matched set of servos for the truck. What I am looking for a set of servos to match the output of my old servos and still be able to make it through a 45 min main with a NiMH receiver pack. I have heard a lot of good things out of the ACE/AE servo line, but not sure if two digital servos will be to much for the pack. I am in for any suggestions on a good combo of servos that won't suck the power down.

Look into JR's 8800, 9000, 9100 series. They have T's for torque and S's for more speed then torque. I bought a used 9000T for my Losi 8ight-T steering and did not have any problems the whole season. They carry alot more torque then the airtronics you mentioned and the S's are just as fast as the 94360.

+ 1 for JR I run the 9100t and 9000s in my mbx6 buggy and love them with my 1700mah batt.

I am using the JR Servos in my sig and while I havent run my truggy on the ground yet, the speed and strength is AMAZING! Very happy with em. They are both Digital servo's also and are running from a 6v Hump Pack.

I have ran both the ace ds1015 and jr 9100t,jr9100s and jr9000's and to be honest they are both awesome servo's. For throttle the jr9100s is extremely fast with lots of torque and the ace ds1015 servo's are great for steering. supper fast and extremely strong. I have several of both brands and lost 1 ds1015 almost immediately after purchase less than 1/2 hr. Ace replaced it and have never had another problem. last year I had a jr9000s break a gear. I had aprox 1 1/2 racing seasons on it and I came up short on a big tripple in a bad way. Buggy went from almost top speed to a dead stop. Sent jr9000s servo to jr and they repaired it for free. Still using it in a basher.Both are great servo's and companies to deal with. I believe the ace ds1015 rating is like 200 oz at .10 and the jr9100s is 180oz. at .06

Also before I went to lipo rec. batteries I was using the Ballistic 2700 mah reciever batteries and I could race a 45 min. main and play for another 30 -45 min.

try out the ace or associated 1015 and 1313 they work well and have a great price tag
