Default $250...good deal for a like new FT RC8?

I hate asking this, but I'm not really sure if I should jump on this. A local guy who bought a bunch of kits used this FT RC8 for literally one weekend. The chassis have few if no scratches, it's got updated threaded big bore shocks on it, and some custom camber plates from the same company that makes those really expensive diffs. It comes with three custom painted bodies and heaps of extra parts.

Any thoughts? Is $250 a fair price?

Thanks for the reply. I don't think it even has a race on it, just some time at the track, one or two days.

I'm going to pick it up in the morning, I'll post some pics then. Seems like too good of a deal to pass up. I know this is the nitro forum, but I'm going to convert it electric.

What would you lot say would be the difference in buying the FT RC8 used literally once or a new Losi 8ight T or buggy roller for $275? I am going to convert either one to electric.. but how does a non-2.0 8ight stack up against a FT RC8?

Ut-oh.. here comes the rain of pain...
In this corner you have all the Losi Lemmings...
In the other the Associated Fanboys....

Your special referee for todays bout will be the Mugen Sekiers

Judged by the loyalists Xray, Ofna-Jammin, and Kyosho

Cheers and Jeers can be heard by O'donnell, Caster, Cen and for some reason HPI and Traxxas...

Drinks served by scantily clad Chinese clone knock offs...

I vote RC8 FT OR RS vs Losi 1.0
(I am a Fan afterall)

I've got a Mugen, and a bunch of Team AE stuff.... it appears the 8ight makes a better e-conversion because the center differential is offset. The RC8 conversion kits usually come with a whole new chassis to do just that. Of course a new chassis isn't cheap.

is the 2.0 comming to 1 up the AE car.. or catch up? AE has never built junk and replaced fast. every AE car has been good and the platform sticks around for a while for a reason.

The RC8 engine is offset slightly also and the AE conversion doesnt require a different chassis.
