Come on Losi!!! If they do it, I'll have to convert my 8ight 1.0 to a SC truck.

Kyosho looks to have to short of a wheel base to keep up with the SC8.

There are alot of companies jumping on the bandwagon. And its good they do, the class looks to have alot of scale resemblance. Good for sales! which is good for RC, which is good for everybody!

I would not be surprised if it's their "US Sports" buggy (MP7.5?) re-tooled into a CORR truck. I like the proportions of the SC8 better and it probably does handle better being longer.

Wow! that's great news! does anybody have any photos or other information regarding this truck? It appears to have the engine on the right side of the chassis?? Any scale mentioned? Man, I hope for their sake it's still a prototype.

actually kyosho kinda did that before with the landmax...as a matter of fact I used to own it:

I still have this body 2:

it was a very realistic truck as far as handling goes only problem was the lack of suspension travel, and the old plastics cracked easy.I had fun with it though

Wow, that thing is about as sexy as that fugly ass trophy truck from robitronic.
SC8 all the way. AE hit the nail on the head with their truck.
Obviously this is just my opinion but if anybody thinks that this truck looks good, you deffinetely have'nt been to a CORR race and seen a real short course truck.

I will agree looks pretty ugly at least the old truck I just posted when new looks kinda nice lol...THE SC8 is def the hottest looking corr truck. but the kyosho will probably be cheaper which will help bring in more potential corr truck drivers, so though it's ugly good job kyosho.

The new Kyosho truck is 1/10 scale, not 1/8. The Exxon truck from years ago was awesome - definitely the first truck of its type.

They would be very stupid to make it 10th scale. It will just go the way of crt .5. We don't need more crap to confuse things more. Slash, Slayer, RC8. We have enough as it is. The manufacturers need to settle on some standards or it will all just die and that would suck.

Kyosho is known for their realism. The production truck will be very scale. This is how Kyosho works.

Everyone is welcome to their opinion, but please refrain from over-the-top trash talk - it really doesn't serve any purpose. The CRT is not 1/10 scale. This truck is closer in size to the Slayer than the CRT .5 - it's 4WD and has an .18 engine. If it doesn't fit the mold of what you think it should be, then I guess it can't please everyone.

haven't seen any pics or vids yet (cant access at work), but it sounds to me that it would be based off of the DBX/DST chassis. Running a .18 engine, 1/10 scale (although they are a 'large' 1/10) and engine and pipe on the RHS. Obviously more of a fun thing, like the slayer, than a pure bread racer.

I think the looks of these trucks are awesome. My problem is with 1/8th scale is the cost. I can barely afford to run truggy now, so I don't see me spending another grand on a different vehicle. The Slashes worked here this summer. Most everyone had the gear to run them, so the $200 truck was the only exspense. Funny thing was, as the racing season closed, there was just as big of a race to unload them on someone else before everyone put stuff away for the winter. Some are still running them now indoors and that looks to be where the fun with the Slashes is. The track is tight and they are packed on there so there are a lot of fenders rubbing...
