The jammin is a 5 + 2 port so its a top end engine, you want to tame it a bit, that's where the manifold and the pipe come in, it will also give you a full minute if not more in your run times, if you go from any JP pipe to the 053 you might get 2 minutes more runtime and that's huge!!

I am going to be buying this used one, for a back up, and looking into buying a new one to use as my race engine. For the price, you simply cannot beat it.

I know there are stories out there that they have carb issues, bearings go out quick, yada yada yada... but I have other friends that have ran these, and they have not had those problems. I know the one that I am using now, has not had any of those issues, so its hard to say. It could just be how you take care of it. This one has been taken care of, and it has plenty of fuel though it.

MY opinion is that in this price range, this one is at the top of my list. The only others I find interesting is the GRP (Non Tuned), and the Sirio engine. Once you get in the 300.00 range, you may as well look at the GRP (Tuned- an Awsome engine!), and plenty of the others.

for the money...im thinking when the time comes i'd buy one
thanks pres for "selling" it to danny
thanks danny for lending it to me at the last minute

When I first started I had a JP-3 with a .28. I could go 7.5 and that was about all. I got an OS 2060 and a 2050, and have gone 12 in a truggy with a speed. I will check into that pipe. Thanks for the info.

hey R2 your engine ran overheated because of a bad fuel tank?

If the tank is leaking, they can/will suck air. This causes the engine to go lean and get hot. Do you know how to check for leaks in the tank?

JPX 21 rocks using a 086... very good runtimes and more overall power then a JP4.. Another pipe of interest is the MSR 1005 ! IMO the JPX/P7R engines have huge bottom end power even with a 086 pipe...

the only issue I found with the Picco was one of the carbs on my jammin engine was bad. the slide would stick, no matter what i did to it. but the engine made unbelievable power.I pulled the p/s/r and crank from that engine an keep it as a backup for when my p7r needs parts. Great motors that are underated. Get the Jammin or a P7r you wont regret it...

The quickest "trackside" way to do it is to put a fuel line from the fuel outlet to the pressure (exhaust in), fill the tank 100% full, then gently squeeze the sides of the tank. Usually, if there is a leak, fuel will come out where the leak is. This is a method I have used at the track and it has always worked for me.
Hope this helps.

ok i check there are no leaks, but i notice the fuel line is alittle smaller than i usually run.. think if i go to a bigger fuel line will help ?

Possibly. Make sure you don't have holes in the line and the engine is not leaking....
