I don't think that it will because the demand was still there.
I know I still buy it at what is it now 37.99 for 30% nitro
I'm switching to 20% it's cheaper

The hobby guys have us all trained to pay the higher price now. Why lower it if we're willing to spend the cash?

At my LHS it seems to have came down a bit. It had went up to about 35.00+ at one point, but I just bought some 30% Nitrotane, and they had it stickered @ 29,99 again. I get a little bit of a break, so I paid a little less than that. Not too bad.

I have two cans of PowerMaster in my garage, one I paid $18.99 and the other is $25.99. I don't think our dismal economy warranted a $7/gallon increase over 6 months. Don't expect shops to drop it too quickly because as someone said, people are willing to pay for it as is.

I wanted to start this tread along time ago, But i'm glad some did, OK early on when the Olympics was about to start it was projected to go up. Now that they have come and gone, the price stayed up. why. Well this just my theory (they think they got us by the balls). Now for a solution. We can stop running or we as racers can send emails to all the fuel manufacturers, team drivers, hobbies shops, tracks owner's, ect. think about with out us there's no them. We need to stand up and let them know how we feel and not just let this die. Believe it or not we have more control than we think, we just have to voice our opinion. There no reason for the prices to be this high.

Whining on here is not going to change the prices. Why do all of you feel the need to run 30%? It won't make you a better driver, or help you win races. Plus it just destroys your motor, and costs you more in maintenance on every part of your car. Run 20%, and learn how to drive your car better! What a waste of freaking money! If you don't like the price of the fuel, buy batteries. Quit whining!

I do work at the LHS and when he hit came our cost per gallon went up by $11.60 per gallon and we only bumped our prices up by $5. Its still something i get ribbed about when the guys come into the store but the prices havent come down on our cost to purchase it. When it does our prices will lower accordingly. But as i too like to run around my little toy cars i have to pay the going price to make them run. Its the fuel makers and distributors that are hurting everything.

People like you is why the prices are the way they are now. First off I'm not whining I don't pay but $20 a gallon. But why sit back and let someone f--- you over stand up for self. That's part of the problem we just accept what they say without ?. well we want to raise the prices 50% OK no problem. If U don't like then step aside and let the people who want to be apart of solution try to make a difference do so.

Actually he has a valid point if we all run electric then there will be nobody to buy the nitro which in turn will make the companies bring down the price so people will buy it again.
