i have ran them a couple different places and they were good both places. this tire fills a gap in prolines current line of tires. they didn't have anything inbetween a bow tie and a hole shot. Now they do with the Revolver.

the wear on this tire is very good. Hara ran 60 min. on M3 Revolvers and had lots of tread left. oh and he won the worlds. not too bad for the tires first race out.

We cant give them away.... I bought a set of city blocks to try out, but my god theyre heavy... over 4oz heavier than any combo I've ran this year, besides how wide they are, some cars are not legal with them. So I dont think I'll run em... just sell them. Even at that we have them listed for sale for $2 over cost and still have boxes of them just sitting here....

So theyre definetly not dominating, at least here.

We'll as you read the AKA tire Thread users are very impressed with it, I only have I set of the IBEAM, and the rest are PROLINE and Jconcepts, I have a new set of REVOLVERS(M3), I will give it a shot, I used HOLE SHOTS, BOWFIGHTERS no complain the only thing is their INSERTS, it get soft fast, thats what i noticed as well as their truggy foam,. other than that NO MORE.NADA. does this mean PROLINE STILL #1? tough question eh.

I have been running the V3 Revolver on the rear and V2 up front on an MBX6. They have worked great, good wear with solid hook-up on a med/hard track surface.

they rub on the Lower ARM as it turns (makes the car steering shorter), and i found out from PROLINE TIRE CHART it does'nt fit ont JAMMIN and O'donnell as well.

I have a set of Revolvers mounted on V2 with proline foam. I havent used them but they look like they will work very well. The tread pattern is larger than a holeshot but smaller than a crime or bowtie. I bought them because my local track is usually too slick for holeshots, but sometimes too hardpack for crimes or bowties. As far as AKA tires, i have been using cityblocks premount for a few weeks and my "good" lap times dropped 1-2.5 seconds (whenever i wasnt upside down). The car was more consistent from turn to turn, sweepers and hairpins. I will definetly be buying another set.

2mm offset hubs is the Fix for the V3's......and AKA's foam, tread pattern, and rubber compound are far superior to Anything proline makes....proline's gonna have to step up their game as AKA IMO is the New kid on the block...and now with AKA branching out and staring their own company with new facility to meet the current demands....proline's in trouble.
