Default servo saver help/info

is anyone familiar with the losi 8's servo saver assembly? or any servo saver assembly as i assume there all rather similar, what i want to know is how much the compression applied to the ss spring at the bottom of the ss tube effects the servo operation? in terms of the servo ''clutching out''. also how it should be set to assist with servo centering.

any information/explanation on this topic is greatly appreciated.

'cos atm im a bit confused as to how i should set it up for optimal servo operation

cheers

1.0 or 2.0 ? the 1.0 servo saver sucked hard.....and in reality didn't work worth a bean.....get the 2.0 plastics at a minimum if your talking 1.0 and set it to be reasonably stiff but at the same time have enough give to actually do its job.

its the 8t 1.0, ill look into getting the 2.0 plastics but ive heard people having difficulties with the install.

im rather new to rc and wass wondering what effects either running more or less compression would have etc.

stiffer the springs....the more likely your gonna sheer a gear in the servo....there's a happy medium...but being new might be hard to judge....the install problems are with the radio tray...not the servo saver set-up.
