Default Hmm..

so, I need an engine for this 8ight I got, which I've had for over a year, and never bothered touching it, other than putting it together..

I'm looking at around $300 for a pipe/engine combo. Maybe a bit more over if in range.

Was looking at the GRP .21 Standard head, or the RB S3II L2G w/ the pipe. Or the 5 port one.

Suggestions?

Thanks

the os vspec is a good choice also has a little more power and better fuel economy then the rb's, rb's and grp's are both good choices

You could try the stock X-Tech. Very big power and superior run time compared to anything else in this price range.

Check this out if ya want crazy power:

http://www.carolinasrc.com/Webstore/...idproduct=9820

Or this is the "one" of the best mills I have ran ever for a buggy. Good life, crazy runtime, very smooth, yet a deceiving bottom end, engine is quiet so top sounds slow but I promise it's on pace with anything out there....

For the pipe and header, engine combo it's a little over your price but I'll dig through my emails for some coupons for you...

of course the ones I listed above are typical "high end" mills. You can use one of the below coupons and get them for a good deal...

If your Order is Between:You Saveiscount Code:
$100.00 - $199.99 $7.50 RCDEC87

$200.00 - $299.99 $15.00 RCDEC815

$300.00 - $649.99 $30.00 RCDEC830

This one can be upgraded to the tuned after you rebuild one day. It has the same power as the tuned version just at around 250-260 instead of 190-200 degrees llike the tuned version. You can save $15 on it...

These are great threads to discuss products, but it funny how some people only feel the need to prove their product is great by talking bad about another product. they say things like the grp's and rb's are great and other products are no name offbrands, they never discuss why the product they are pushing is better just how better it is compared to this.

Fact is, how big was GRP's team going into the worlds, and how many pro drivers followed thru with their contracts at the worlds.

RB just lost Rody one of the engines designers.

I am not going promote any particular brand but I will stick up for any brand that is critized for not being premier enough. Cause fact is any engine on the market today will offer similar quality and enough power to win a world championship if tuned and maintaned properly.

Atushi Hara didn't win the worlds because of a product he won the worlds because of hours upon hours of dedication to car and engine maintenance, testing, talent, and luck.

Heh, thanks ABURTON.

I like the way the Non-Tuned GRP looks. And if I can rebuild it to the tuned specs, then that'd be even better.

Thanks for the coupons btw

What's wrong with Go-Tech? Hard to beat them in the bang for the buck category. Especially when it comes to tuning and longevity.

A good ole Jammin JPX 21 on a 086 pipe is a very sick combo for under $300.00.... a very powerful .21 that is well suited to Truggy applications.

How about the courtesy to put a little more description in the post title so we can decide if we want to click on the thread or not. Thanks.
