Default Lipo in a radio yes or no

I have a M11, I heard good things and bad things about lipo batteries. Are they safe to put in a radio. I see they sell them.

I run one in my m11, really lightens it up. Just set your battery voltage alarm.

a lipos cut off voltage should be 3 volts per cell ....ie...the battery you will use in the m-11 will be a 3 cell ......9.5 volts would be a good point ...my
3pks cuts off at 9.5 ....i run a vxr 1000 mah 3 cell lipo ...very light and radio will run all month on a charge .....

I have had the losi lipo in my M11 for almost a year (got it for x-mas from the wife last year) have had zero issues with it, DO NOT CHARGE A LIPO IN THE RADIO, you must take it out of the radio to charge it. like said above I can go a month on a charge racing every weekend.

i have the spektrum dx3r and it only uses 4 aa batteries no lipos available. its extremely light anyway and lasts a long time. i bought the energizers lipos aa 16 for 4. its really light now and they lasted probably 6-8 times longer then regular batteries.

Lipos aren't necessary in the 3R. Mine goes seemingly forever on a set of 4AAs.

I ran a protek 1700 in my 3pk for awhile... it seemed to die quick after about 6 months... I recently upgraded the Reedy 3000 and its been good so far.

I bought the losi lipo pack for my ex-10 helios, love it so far, works perfect. I have a question though.

In the directions for the pack, it says not to let the voltage drop below 9.6 and recharge at 11.1. Do I really need to recharge at 11.1 or can I recharge at 10v without damaging the pack, thanks

I'm using 2 of these same lipos - 1 in a 3PK and the other in a 3PJS. Big improvement over NiMHs that I was running - 2300mah Sanyos! I've only charged them 3 times since Feb!!

I was worried I was spending too much - these lipos are pricey, but they seem to never need charging, just go use it.

Def a yes!
