I know, and I am prepared for all the crap I have to take for my post, but I will always truthfully speak my mind, and give honest opinions to people who ask for help. I guess I could have done it without bashing other cars though. I ran OFNA and I've seen pretty much everything out there, and some buggies just don't match up, and anything that has Molded cast aluminum is just a nightmare waiting to happen, as that is the worst material that can be used in Off-road vehicles. You might as well make the part out of Peanut Brittle! actually I think Peanut Brittle will last longer.

definitly get the 7.5

kyosho still makes a 7.5 rtr and inferno gt's are based on the 7.5 platform so parts will be there for long

some ofna buggies are awesome but the lxone is simply not one of them
IF ever you go the ofna route stick to the hypers or jammins. the 9.5 series are not bad either but hardly heard any good from the ultra series

I run Ofna
Around here kyosho is next to impossible to get parts for.
Ofna has allot of parts around here and to be honest I find they run awsome and very dependable. Im sure there are lighter faster buggies but unless you are pro racer and race circuits and such......Dependable and easy repairs and parts takes the top of my list of priorities

Eric, I figured between you, and Don I was gonna hear it! I deserve everything I get from you two. I've just seen so many of these new companies come out with 1/8 buggies and they are just not up to par with the big guys. but I know you kick ass with your SH. My apologies if I offended. I compare everything to my XRAY and to me, there is nothing even close as far as durability. I beat the hell out of my 808 and nothing ever breaks, can't say the same for any other buggy I have seen. I guess I am bias towards my brand, but it's been so good to me, now I just need to learn how to drive it, lol

Listen, for the same price if you look around you can get the new Ofna Picco buggy which is a much better choice than both of the ones you put because it isnew it has a Picco .21 mill Jammin Super big bore shocks and parts are everywhere because it is just alittle of this and that from a few Ofna buggies put together. If you are going to get an RTR to me that is the best 1 out right now. The electronics are junk which they prety much are on all RTR's anyway.

Actually The jammin, or the Hyper 7 TQ Black, are the top choices for OFNA RTR's. The Picco buggy is based on the 9.5 platform which is basher buggy. The ride height is too far off the ground, and it's just dont perform like the Hyper or Jammin. Jammin and Hyper are both race worthy with the right servo's and a good radio. Last I saw the Hyper was coming with a Hyper engine which IMO is one of the best starter engines on the market. Not quit a PICCO but the only 2 good things about the Picco buggy are the Engine and the shocks, everything else is pure basher/Sport

And what makes you think Caster (not Castor) should be on your list? I think the Caster AND SH should not be there.

Ofna is a POS?
Gimme a break. I dont care for certian brands either but I at least attempt to reply to post with some intellegence. I came to this site after 10 years out of the hobby to read and learn. In the last week Ive seen nothing but flaming bashing of others and Blanket statements like the one made above just looking for a argument. Every brand has its own benefits even if it doesnt fit that way in your opinion there is no reason to make childish comments.

Me, blanket statement? I just like people to say there reasons why they do not like something. Not just that they are junk or bad. Just like you liking Ofna. You have your reasons you like it. I think they are ok. Not trying to start something but just like me saying "X-ray is junk", I would get comments like, why, what happened, give me reason? I personally think they are one of the best but people like to see reasons IMO. I mean wouldnt you want to know why he put OFNA on that list?
