makes sence CarCrazy....but remember....98% of guys here are NOT in the Pro/Expert class like you and I...and Dont know exactly what a 1/4 turn on a Camber rod will do...so unless you have a station to begin with...then your setup could be Way off by the time you get it "dialed" in you opinion...but for all you know, you just got used to that crappy set-up with #'s all over the place...when in reality the car would do Much better with a Known true set-up where you can see real #'s in front of your face.....im not debating anything here...but just that most guys arent pro's and cant "feel" the set-up like some can.....and Ill 2nd you statement.....Gary Guest and Chad Bradley both stated " I dont need a station....I can eyeball it and know".
Use it if you got it!

Awesome...looks like I will be getting it before next racing season. I have my buggy adjusted, but im really anxious to see just how off I really am with my settings. Hopefully I can snag a good deal with one

i know this is about HUDY but don't sleep on the Team Magic 1/8 station. I have used both and own the Team magic station and its better than the Hudy. Everything rides on bearings and it just looks cooler. lol
#49
Is the Team Magic compatible with a truggy?
#50
im honestly not sure if they came out with the truggy toe plate or not. You can do all your camber links no problem though with the TM on a truggy. It only comes with the buggy toe plate. They said over a year ago they were going to have the truggy toe plate so it may be out and I just dont know about it.

While on Team magics website, I was unable to find any sort of 1/8 set-up station, but I ran across this and forwarded me to this website. Is this another division of Team Magic or are they working collaboratively?
#52
check their hard-racing website.
i think they switched over all their tools and bags to that name.

The Hudy Also rides on bearings...and without a truggy top plate...it aint much of a station.
#54
i thought the hudy only had 1 bearing and 1 bushing. i could be wrong. but honestly by the TM having 2 bearing per post doesnt really matter... thats a little excessive. lol
Go with the Hudy if thats what you want but when you see a TM one you will see what im talking about. they are both awesome though.
if its for a truggy go HUDY as im not sure if the TM one has a truggy plate or not. I got mine before truggies were so big.

They both look awesome. I have both a buggy and a widened T-Maxx, not sure if the truggy top plate will even fit, if not Im sure i wont have trouble selling it. But anyway, do you guys use those droop blocks at all, or what is your opinion on how to set that up
#56
droop is measured by overall shock length...with the car off the wheels you can measure with Digi caliper's.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure it was not necessary

I had contacted H.A.R.D. and asked them this:
"I was wondering if the 1/8 Buggy station ( H7105) was compatible with a 1/8 truggy, or if any sort of top plate is available to accommodate a truggy. Thanks you"
They responded with this:
"They both have 17mm hub and the nut is same.
You could put the truggy top plate H7106-1 on the buggy setup station .
But the truggy and buggy's height is different . If you consider the height , we suggest you use completely truggy setup station will be btter . It will have better(precise) setup.
If you have any unclear or other inquiries, feel free to let us know.

H7106 1/8 Truggy Cambertoe Setup Gauge
H7106-1 1/8 Truggy Cambertoe Setup Gauge Top Plate (460x150x5 mm)"
I tried their website and was unable to find any information on the h7106 and the h7106-1

I dont have a lot of info on the TM station but found this & it has a little info but more importantly pictures of it assembled on what looks like a ofna car.Maybe give you an idea of how it will look on a truggy or your version of a truggy. I dont think the hudy truggy toe plate will work on the TH fixtures.Look ,read & you be the judge or call the place & ask if they can get you what you want.
