sorry not implying anything just my experience.
In your case unfortunate luck and teh fact that it was modified would open other possibilities for its demise.

Yes there has been reports of issues and rods breaking etc.. but all that was soted out and customers that had those issues that sent there motors back to Axe had them swapped out and replaced or repaired.
There service has been good.
There will be a few that will say other wise but that happens with any product.

I can confidently say the Axe products are well above average in quality and performance and wont use anything else.

I have a Mamba and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. I haven't used the pipe that comes in that combo but I've used a few others. The TTR pipe I have now has been great. I wouldn't give much weight to the dyno result someone above was talking about because I run with Nova's, OS Speeds, RB's, and others and I don't have any trouble keeping up. Its got awesome, controllable power that gets me around every track I run on as quickly as everyone else of my skill. Great motor if you ask me!!!

Anyone running the Axe Rossi Cobra X1 EVO .21 engine? I need to know what the stock shimming is for this engine with the turbo button.

Did anyone besides me notice the first two charts show the VG 21 with almost as much power as a stock V-Spec? 120 vs 137.5. Compare 2060 pipe to pipe specs.Dyno Graphs

Unfortunately, VG's don't last worth a crap!
