I found mine to be a bit fragile compared to othe truggies , it turned well off power but pushed on power I got on well jumping it but it seemed to need a certain technique to get it to jump consistantly.
It would not be a good choice if your going to race as it isn't very competative and part support now seems nearly non excistant.
I havn't seen one on the track for nearly two years although there were a lot sold.
Sorry to be so negative but these are just my views.

No need to be sorry for all the negative talk. I'm looking for the facts here so it's all good.

I'm looking for mostly a basher but also something that would be fun to take to a track and dink around you know? Nothing serious.

Me and my brother race our hellfires without any problems all summer long. Me I've had mine since they first come out with very few problems or breakage. My brother had a Lightning Pro-R which is crap. Something always broken or screws pulled out. I gave him my SS kit that i gotten for parts only from tower for 230.00. Now sits back and enjoy racing without being broken that he's beating me now with my setup
Mine turns very well and has on power steering most don't beleive it's a Hellfire. Because all THIS CRAP on the internet and that most who also say this crap never ran one only going off what they read online. Most gave up also because they had no factroy drive telling them have setup use. These are the poeple who jump from truck to truck to truck never learn HOW to setup up a R/C vehicle. Yes the setup has to be more on spot tires the biggest thing because the chassis is so stiff. It is one of the stiffest chassis out there.
