Questions?? Would you race on Sundays (Hemet,CA)?

Allright everyone here is the deal, i am good friends with the people who now run the track formely known as Hemet RC and the original Dirt. Bob, the owner of Dynamic Hobbies (which is around the corner from the track) now has the lease for the track till mid next year or so. the employees from the store are keeping the track open just for practice, for now. they would like to set-up some type of race schedule. i know it would be difficult to pull the Rev, ARC, and/or Thunder Alley crowd from their normal Saturday races. This is why i am thinking Sundays would be good if you didn't quite get your race fix from the prior day satisfied or possibly you might have missed that Saturday for some other reason.

Everything is up in the air right now and they are looking for input. I suggested to keep the fees low, run maybe every other weekend, and change up the lay-out as much as possible. Let's here your constructive input

FYI they are currently open for practice Wed-Fri evenings and weekends in the afternoon, don't know exact times. here is the store number 951-925-9331 if you want exact times.

well they are moving in the right direction already; went to practice this eve and they were closed due to the track change. did not look at the track but it is being done by Mr. Dirt himself, Joey C., so rest assured it should be a good one!

How about Friday night races?

Also I will hopefully be showing up with a few other electric 1/8th guys this Friday for practice. Sounds like fun!

I just happend to go by the track, and they were working on it. The track is going to be pretty sick! I wont give any clues as what to expect, but it is going to be a blast!

Normally it has been 1/8th scale buggy/truggys, but most every track will support a 1/10th scale race as long as more than 8 or so people show up for the class.

I talked to the hobby shop that is running the track and they mentioned that they recently installed a large Rock Climbing Course! Not sure how large, but will find out later today.

oh ya they have a rock crawler course too . don't know anything about rock climbing so i can't say much about it, i will get some pics of that too. they also have a kiddie track that is supposely used for the slider cars, basically a small oval. they put a few turns on the inside of that track to use for kids or something, maybe good for an 1/18th scale. pipe is being layed this afternoon for the new layout, will have pictures sometime late this evening after i go practice there.

here are the pics, better late than never. the new layout is pretty fun, the triple is pretty long and has claimed a few cars already. the rock crawler thing is about 20'x20' and about 6ft. tall.
