Default 1/10 scale kits?

The track close by has a 1/8 and 1/10 scale track. I'd like to get a 1/10 car kits so I can take advantage of this track. They forbid 1/8's on the 1/10 track. I've got Mugen MBX-6 and Thunder Tiger EB-S3 1/8 scale. I'm looking for a 1/10 kit, not an RTR. Most 1/10's appear to be RTRs. I like the Thunder Tiger Tomahawk and Kyosho MBX, but those are RTR.

Any thoughts on some nice 1/10 kits?

For racing, the only 1/10 scale nitro I would get would be the stadium trucks. If you want 4WD, Hot Bodies has a 1/10 truggy (not sure if it's discontinued or not). The ones you mentioned are meant mostly for beginners and are definitely not geared towards racing.

OK.. I'll check out the Team AE 1/10 truck kit. I'd prefer a buggy, but not totally against a truggy, I just don't want another RTR, I don't need any more crappy radio's around and RTR's are a pain because you basically have to rebuild them anyways.

XXX-NT AD2 or AE GT2 FT. (AD2 is better ) Those are the top 2 competators for 1/10.

I say the AE FT GT2. and don't go overboard with the engine either. A good mild engine will make you happy. I run an OS .12TZ that barely opens up half way.

My local track has no racing for 4WD 1/10, only 2WD. So I think the RC10 GT2 is the one for me. I can't believe the decline in 1/10 over the years, maybe the popularity of electric now will bring them back.

Most of the former 1/10th scale drivers went to 1/8th scale, and alot of those drivers quit because of the cost. The GT2 resparked alot of interest in that class again when it came out.
