So, just got the new firestorm 10t, did the break in, dialed in the carb and let me just say that it has INSANE acceleration and can do "on-demand" wheelies. on my 7th tank (second day of running it) i did a full speed run and all of a sudden one wheels stopped turning. i removes the transmission and found the planetary gears (which hpi boasts are "all metal") were in 50 pieces, totally destroyed!!! i called hpi's warranty line and apparently all of there reps are busy, i waited for 15minutes and gave up and left a message. its too bad because the truck seems to be very solid and well built. anyone else have this problem? if so did hpi send the part out free?
