Default losi 8ight question

i have a losi 8ight pro and i see alot of people putting the king heads or carbon fiber radio tray brace on the radio tray, is there any advantage to this or is it for looks? i also found this chassis on ebay that are lighter but are a little thicker would i be waisting my money on this chassis?

Seems like everyone is asking this question lately. STAY AWAY FROM THE DRAGON RACING CHASSIS'. worse quality then stock. Bend easily, coating sucks and I have even heard of them breaking. If you are looking to get a new chassis I would reccomend the losi TFT(tuned flex technology) chassis or even the new 2.0 chassis however you would need the longer rear driveshaft aswell for that. As for the rdio tray stiffner I have been running the King Headz one on my buggy and truggy for a long time. you do notice a difference in stiffness and they look great.

the TFT chassis and the 2.0 chassis is the same? correct? just the longer rear center shaft and the rest will bolt up and be the same?

Well the 2.0 chassis has the tft incorperated but they aren't the same. the 2.0 is 2mm longer and is black annodized. it also has steel droop stop screws and laser etched engine alignment markings. Other than that they are basically the same. Yup if you get the 2.0 chassis and the longer shaft it should all bolt right up.

If you just want to switch chassis you should go with one of these two:

http://www.carolinasrc.com/Webstore/...idproduct=2659

http://www.carolinasrc.com/Webstore/...idproduct=7856

If you want to gain some of what the 2.0 version has to offer get these items:

http://www.carolinasrc.com/Webstore/...dproduct=11572

http://www.carolinasrc.com/Webstore/...dproduct=11569

This set up will make your version one 2mm longer behind the engine. It's a nice addition.

Look on the front page for discount codes(10%) and you may can use the free shipping option....not sure though.
